Shashank Priyadarshi

Hi there, I am currently a Research Assistant at Max Planck Institute for Informatics under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Margret Keuper, and pursuing master’s in Computer Science at Saarland University. My master’s thesis is supervised by Anurag Das, Siddharth Gairola, and Shashank Agnihotri.

Prior to this, I have worked with Dr. Yisroel Mirsky as an academic research intern in contributing to add more support to Adversarial Robustness Toolbox. Before that, I worked as an summer intern at Zoho where I focused on project related to Language and Vision understanding. I have completed my bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with specilization in AI from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham with Distinction, where my thesis was supervised by Dr. Jayaraj Poroor involved exploring the integration of knowledge graphs in Language Models for better reasoning.

Broadly, I am interested in Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Language, and their applications to real-world problems. I am particularly interested in Self-Supervised Learning, investigating how models extract dense, generalizable features from raw data, vision language alignment, and, PEFT.
